Millie Hines dance experience consists of 12 years training in ballet, tap, and jazz from local dance studios, Dance Plus, Gallatin Dance Academy and Centerstage Performing Arts Academy. Millie is a Freshman at Volunteer State Community College in the pre-nursing program.  Millie is certified in child CPR. Millie’s passion is dance and she hasn’t wanted to do anything thing else since she was 5 years old. This is Millie’s fourth year teaching.  She loves working with kids and watching them enjoy the art of dance.

Joyce Kacar

Joyce Kacar

Joyce Kacar is enjoying her 22nd year of dance instruction. She and her husband, Milan, and 6 children reside in Gallatin. Trained in Chechetti Classical Ballet, Al Gilbert tap and Luigi jazz at Kathi’s Dance and Gym Center in Springfield, Ohio, she began teaching dance and gymnastics at 16 as well as choreographing for Kathi’s. Joyce performed with Kathi’s Senior Line Dancers at many local venues. She studied Dance at the University of Akron for one year. After 17 years at Kathi’s, her move to Tennessee in 1990 eventually led her to CenterStage to continue her love of dance through teaching. Joyce believes the discipline and beauty of dance offers both teacher and student opportunities to grow in virtue and graceful confidence.

Mende Taylor

Mende Taylor

Mende Taylor currently resides in Gallatin, TN with husband Lance and children Landon (12), Morgan (8) and Brennan (4).  Mende discovered dance as an elementary student which brought her to student teaching at the age of 15.  She has been dancing for approximately 18 years.  Mende enjoys sharing the art of dance with her students and feels it is such a joy to work with children and watch them grasp dance technique.

Andrea Hixon

Andrea Hixon

Andrea Hixon is 26, married, and lives in Gallatin with husband and 2 boys. She has lived here her whole life. Andrea’s dance experience consists of 21 years of learning ballet, tap and jazz.  Her instruction experience consists of 8 years at local dance studios. She has competed on dance teams and performed at many different venues for entertainment since age 8. Andrea’s natural passion is for all types of dance and music.


Katrina Bowling

Having called Gallatin home for the majority of her life, Katrina’s enthusiasm and passion for dance began when enrolled at the age of three.  Throughout the years, performing at different venues and competitions, she has since turned her attention to teaching, as of six years ago.  After taking a break from the dance scene for studies abroad, Katrina currently resides back in Gallatin, employed with emergency service as a Telecommunicator and is thoroughly excited to be back with CenterStage, sharing her love for performing arts.
