Tech Rehearsal: Thursday, May 31st at GodWhy This is a technical rehearsal only, students do not need to be in costume or have make up or hair done. NO REGULAR DANCE CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT CENTERSTAGE ON THURSDAY, MAY 31ST.

All OPEN MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL classes 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
All Level 6, 7, 8, Worship, Contemporary Ballet, and Adult classes 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.

SHOW Date: Saturday, June 2nd 12:30 p.m. AND 5:00 p.m. (ALL students in Levels 4,and up will perform at BOTH shows (this includes the Advanced Open classes, Worship and the Adult Tap class)
Monday and Tuesday Level 1 and 2 classes will perform at the 5:00 show
Wednesday and Thursday Level 1 and 2 classes will perform at the 12:30 show
All Level 3, Tumbling, Open Hip - Hop, and OPEN ELEMENTARY classes will perform at the 12:30 show
All OPEN MIDDLE/HIGHSCHOOL classes will perform at the 5:00 show
*Tickets: Tickets will go on sale April 28th, 2018 Based on our most recent survey results, our patrons would prefer assigned seating. All attendees will be able to purchase their seats from their personal computer or at the dance studio. Tickets can be purchased through performcenterstage.eventbrite.com, and will include a tax and surcharge. $10 for adults $8 kids aged ten and under $8 for seniors 60+ $8 for military $0 kids aged 4 and under (must sit on a lap)
Purchasing tickets online: -using a computer, you are able to select your assigned seat -using a cell phone or tablet, you will automatically be assigned the best available seats -you will also be able to pre-order your DVD and/or poster at check-out -tickets purchased together will be seated together -tickets will be emailed to you -you do not need to wait in line to purchase tickets, or enter the theater on show day -ticket availability is guaranteed -tickets will have an additional surcharge of around $2 per ticket Purchasing tickets at the door (available at CenterStage, 1 hour before the show begins): -tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card -you will not be able to select your assigned seat. All tickets purchased at the door will automatically be assigned the best available seat -you will need to order your DVD and/or posters for your student at the information table before/after the show or during intermission -if you are attending the show with others who purchased tickets ahead of time, you will not be able to sit together -ticket availability is not guaranteed -if purchased with cash, there are no additional fees or surcharges -if purchased with credit card there will be a $1.00 - $2.00 charge added to your order (not per ticket) If you do not purchase tickets before the show day, we cannot guarantee availability. DVD’s: $25 each, including the cost of shipping directly to your home. Scholarship Fundraiser: Any student who would like their hair or make up done for the recital can book appointment times with our CenterStage Ambassadors. Each slot is 20 minutes and is $10 per appointment. All monies will go to our scholarship fund. Appointment times can be booked through Natalie@performcenterstage.com. Show Day SCHEDULE: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m Make up/Hair slots 11:45 a.m. – Dancers arrive at GodWhy Church 12:00 p.m. – House will open for the audience. 12:30 p.m. – 1st SHOW 2:30 p.m. – End of 1st show. 3:00 p.m. –Dinner (provided by CenterStage for all dancers performing in both shows) 4:30 p.m. – All dancers head back to their classrooms. House will open for audience. 5:00 p.m. – 2nd SHOW Hair-style for ALL students, ALL songs: Student’s hair should be parted over their left eye, with a low bun as close to the nape of the neck if possible. If a student’s hair is too short to pull into a bun, it can be parted and slicked back. Students can choose to pay $10 to have this done the morning of the recital! Parents can drop their student off at our check-in station in the lobby.
We will have adult volunteers checking each student in to their classrooms, and additional volunteers in each classroom to monitor each level and make sure they are prepared for their next dance. There will be toys, coloring activities, movies, and more available in each classroom to entertain them during their back-stage time. Feel free to send your student with their own activities and/or snacks.
During the show, please feel comfortable to remain in your seats. We will make sure that each student is changed and prepared for their next dance so that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Between shows, we will have our Dance Awards for Levels 4 and up. We will cater dinner for all of our volunteers and dance students performing in both shows.
We cannot host our recitals without the help of parent volunteers! Please email Natalie@performcenterstage.com if you are interested! Positions available:
(2) Head of concessions - this volunteer is in charge of coordinating all food and drinks for the recital and recruiting additional volunteers to help man the concession stand for each show. Concessions volunteers work 45 minutes before the show begins, during intermission, and after the show. All concession proceeds go to our dance scholarship fund. Each head of concession will receive 4 free tickets in the front row.
(14 - 21 per show) Classroom volunteers - these volunteers are in charge of helping students change shoes and costumes, taking students to the restroom, and keeping students quiet and entertained during the recital. Classroom volunteers must meet with Natalie during their student's tech rehearsal, must arrive 45 minutes before students arrive on the day of recital, work through the show, and wait until every student has been picked up, or their volunteer replacement arrives. Each classroom volunteer will receive 2 free tickets.
(3 - 6 per show) Ticket taker volunteers - these volunteers are in charge of helping patrons find their seat for the show. Ticket taker volunteers must meet with Kayla the week of recital to go through how the Eventbrite app works. They only work 30 minutes before the show. Each ticket taker volunteer will receive a discount on 2 of their tickets.
